QUETTA: Anonymous armed men gunned down two people and injured one in the provincial capital of Balochisitan, Geo News reported Tuesday.
According to police, the tragic incident took place at the Joint Road near passport office when unknown gunmen killed two brothers, Mohammad Tahir and Mohammad Qadir. A passerby, Manzoor Ahmed, also sustained injuries in the incident.
The injured and bodies of the deceased were shifted to Civil Hospital, Quetta.
Security forces reached the incident site and cordoned off the area to nab the culprits while investigations were also kicked off.
Witnesses told that the administration of passport office does not open the gate on time due to which long queues are formed outside the office.
Two brothers were also among those who were waiting outside the passport office when they were targeted and shot dead.
