Rallies taken out to protest killing of Muslims

PESHAWAR: Different political parties and others staged rallies on Friday in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) to protest the killings of innocent people in Afghanistan, occupied Kashmir, Palestine and Syria.

Jamaat-e-Islami took out a rally in Peshawar from Masjid Mahabat Khan.

Led by Peshawar district amir Sabir Hussain Awan, Behrullah and others, the JI workers were carrying banners and placards to protest the killing of innocent students in an attack on a seminary in Kunduz in Afghanistan.

They chanted slogans against United States, India and Israel for hatching conspiracies against Muslims.

The speakers while addressing the participants termed bombing a barbaric act. They asked the Muslim Ummah to protest against the killings of the innocent seminary students.

They condemned the killing of Muslims in occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces.

The speakers said thousands of Kashmiris had been killed by the Indian forces during the last many years but the world community and the United Nations were silent over these acts.

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl arranged a rally at Namakmandi. The rally was led by the Peshawar chapter leaders of the party.

The speakers condemned the killings of the Muslims in various parts of the world.

They expressed concern at the atrocities being committed in Afghanistan, occupied Kashmir, Palestine and asked the world community to take notice of the situation.

Azadi-e-Jammu Wa Kashmir Movement took out a rally to condemn killings.

Children also participated in the protest. They raised slogans and stood on the American, Indian and Israeli flags to voice anger at the killings in various parts of the world.

The protesters torched the American, Indian and Israeli flags during the rally.

A rally was taken out by Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter to condemn the killings. The protesters gathered at the Qissa Khwani Bazaar. They chanted slogans against the United States, India and Israel.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa artistes also gathered at the Peshawar Press Club to condemn the killings in occupied Kashmir and Palestine.

CHARSADDA: The members of the JUI-F staged a protest rally. Led by Member National Assembly, Maulana Said Gohar Shah, Maulana Muhammad Hashim Khan, Mufti Tahirullah and others, the protesters were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the US. The protesters walked through various areas and gathered at the Farooq Azam Chowk.

Condemning airstrike in Kunduz province, they said that the time had come for the Muslim Ummah to stand against the brutalities of the US.

They said the government should raise the issue at the international forums.

NOWSHERA: Residents and activists of various political parties took out a protest rally against the killing of dozens of seminary students in an airstrike in Kunduz province in Afghanistan.

Led by Pakistan People’s Party, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl, Jamaat-e-Islami and Pakistan Zindabad Movement, leaders including former provincial minister Liaqat Shabab, Pir Zulfiqar Bacha, Mufti Hakim Ali Haqqani, Asif Luqman Qazi, Iftikhar Ahmad Khan and others, the protesters were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the US.

They marched through various areas and gathered at the Shobra Chowk.

The speakers said that carnage of the innocent and armless Hafiz-e-Quran at a madrassa in Kunduz must be condemned by the Muslim Ummah.

“Muslims across the globe should unite against the US and other western forces,” Asif Luqman Qazi said, adding that the issue should be raised at the international forums.

The speakers said that Indian Army had carried out atrocities against the Muslims in the occupied Kashmir.

SWABI: The activists of the JUI-F staged a protest to condemn the airstrikes on a religious school in Kunduz in Afghanistan and killing of innocent people in occupied Kashmir.

They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans. The protesters gathered at the Karnal Sher Khan Chowk and marched towards the General Bus Stand and reached the same point after passing through the main bazaar.

District chief of JUI-F Attaul Haq Darvaish said the US was targeting religious institutions and was waging a war against the Muslims. He also criticised Indian forces for committing atrocities against the unarmed and innocent people of occupied Kashmiri.

KHAR: The JUI-F activists in Bajaur Agency staged protest demonstration against the killing of seminary students in Afghanistan.

Led by Maulana Abdur Rasheed, Mufti Haneefullah and Said Badshah, the protesters were carrying and placards inscribed with slogans against the US.

The speakers said that the UN had become silent spectator to the recent killing of dozens of Hafiz-e-Quran in Afghanistan.

They said the US and the western countries were carrying out atrocities against the Muslims.
