ISLAMABAD: Geo News' senior anchor Hamid Mir said the court’s verdict convicting PM Gilani would affect the budget making process and the crises threatening the country will rise.
He was talking to Kamran Khan following the Supreme Court’s verdict.
Hamid said Prime Minister Gilani was busy until late night making preparations to deal with the consequences of the verdict, and he was ready for such a judgement.
'Following the verdict, some lawyers are being prepared to approach the SC asking it to initiate proceedings against those who declared emergency on November 3, 2007 in violation of its orders and implicate important personalities.'
He further said the PPP would blame the judiciary and media for all the ills, saying the party was not allowed to rule properly and to work for the betterment of the people.
