Lakhvi sent to jail on 14-day judicial remand

ISLAMABAD: The judicial and sessions judge, Islamabad, on Thursday sent Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.Lakhvi was presented in the court on his involvement in a kidnapping case. The court rejected the plea of the police for Lakhvi’s five-day physical remand and sent the alleged mastermind of the Mumbai attacks to the Adiala Jail on 14-day judicial remand.The court has directed the police to present Lakhvi before the court on January 15.
