15 kg heroin seized in Bara

BARA: The Khassadars on Sunday foiled a bid to smuggle heroin and arrested two alleged drug peddlers in Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency, official sources said on Sunday.

The sources said a suspected car was on its way to Bara from Jamrud when the Kassadar personnel stopped it.

During thorough search, the sources said, the Khassadar personnel recovered 15 kilograms of heroin from secret cavities of the car. Two alleged drug smugglers identified as Shamsher and Tayyab were arrested.
