Mental health drive

LAHORE: The Institute of Psychology Beaconhouse National University (BNU) Thursday hosted mental health activities at the BNU Tarogil Campus. The event was aimed to create awareness on mental illness and reduce the stigma attached to the mental health problems. It also featured academic activities including a quiz competition, psychometric assessment, canvas of catharsis, performing arts and a poster competition on theme “Harmony in society”. A mental health day carnival was also arranged where stalls of handicraft were put up by special education institutes as well as food-stalls by the students.
