ISLAMABAD: Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mehmood Achakzai said on Thursday the National Assembly should extensively debate the issue of horse-trading in the upcoming Senate election. “There should be a two-hour debate on this issue,” he said. Speaking in the Lower House, he alleged the parliamentarians were being purchased ahead of the Senate elections. PTI’s Shafqat Mehmood also criticised horse-trading in the Senate elections, saying the PTI has already taken the stance that in the future direct elections should be held for the Upper House.
