ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shireen Mazari criticised those who, according to her, are abusing her over her daughter’s exercising the right to vote at her own free will.
In a tweet, Mazari said she is a member of PTI but it doesn't obligate her family. “Democracy means free choice,” she said.
Mazari’s daughter, Imaan, also reached twitter to counter those who are 'abusing' her mother. She accused PTI supporters of abusing her mother and said you (the PTI) had converted Islamabad into a public toilet for democracy and ‘now you are abusing my mother just because I exercised my right to vote.’
In her earlier tweet, Mazari's daughter said she voted for minorities and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
