LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Friday that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) carries out mega projects for kickbacks while the lives of the poor remain the same with no improvement.

Addressing a rally this evening in Lahore’s Mozang Chungi area on the last day of campaigning for Sunday’s NA-122 by-elections, Khan said that education and healthcare in Pakistan are being sidelined while billions are being spent on building Metros.

He said that the government thought they would easily win the NA-122 by-election but PTI unleashed its secret weapon, Aleem Khan, who was wrongly framed of land grabbing but the truth is that the entire PML-N is full of land grabbers.

He added that PML-N cannot win without rigging and he has told his workers to do everything to stop any rigging in NA-122 on October 11.

The PTI chief went on to say that the prime minister belongs to the country, while all his money is kept abroad, adding that, “I have everything in Pakistan and give tax on every penny I have.”

“Nawaz Sharif, if the going gets tough, Imran Khan will not flee to Jeddah, Imran Khan will stay with his people.”

Khan further said that the competition of ‘junoon’ (passion) is with the PML-N on which the sun is setting.

He added that the PML-N ran away from Lodhran after being afraid of the PTI.

The PTI chairman also alleged that the PM accepted bribes from former al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden to topple Benazir Bhutto’s government in the 90s.

Khan thanked the people of Lahore tremendously for their passion and support, saying, “On Sunday you will have to make decision and I can see that you have decided.”
