Karachi operation: Rangers to start daily FM radio show

KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) announced Thursday the start of a daily FM radio show to update citizens on the ongoing operation to rid Karachi of criminal and terrorist elements.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) announced Thursday the start of a daily FM radio show to update citizens on the ongoing operation to rid Karachi of criminal and terrorist elements.

According to a spokesman for the Rangers, the launch of the radio show is an important step bridge the gap between the law enforcers and citizens.

"Citizens will be able to receive updates of the Karachi operation and details of the guardians from the show," said a Rangers spokesman.

He said that citizens will also be able to call in and give their suggestions regarding the ongoing Karachi operation.

The radio program "Rangers Hour" will air twice a day (830 to 930am and 5 to 6pm), five days a week (Monday to Friday) and will be broadcast on FM 101 from October 2.
