Deadline to file income tax extended till October 31

ISLAMABAD: The deadline to file income tax returns has been extended till October 31.

The original deadline to file tax returns was set to expire today (September 30). The decision was taken during the meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

ISLAMABAD: The deadline to file income tax returns has been extended till October 31.

The original deadline to file tax returns was set to expire today (September 30). The decision was taken during the meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) spokesman informed the committee that 100,000 people had filed their income tax returns online.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Finance Minister Dar said after holding consultations with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif the price of petroleum products would remain unchanged for October.
