LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi says transparent elections were not possible without the resignations of four members of the Election Commission.

Talking to media on Sunday at his residence, he said that the PML-Q would not contest by-polls in the presence of the ECP members.

He said it was the unanimous demand of all the political party that the ECP members should resign.

The former Punjab chief minister said new members of the ECP should be inducted with the consultation of all the political parties.

He was of the view that the people who were involved in rigging in 2013 general election would not conduct transparent election in the future.
