DG Rangers complains of inadequate investigation of criminals

KARACHI: Director General Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar complained to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about the inadequate investigation of criminals.

During a law and order meeting chaired by the prime minister in Karachi, DG Rangers Sindh said one out of four criminals would be given bail because of the investigation not being correct.

KARACHI: Director General Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar complained to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif about the inadequate investigation of criminals.

During a law and order meeting chaired by the prime minister in Karachi, DG Rangers Sindh said one out of four criminals would be given bail because of the investigation not being correct.

The prime minister directed Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah to improve the prosecution of criminals. The chief minister said that special attention would be given to the prosecution.

DG Rangers further said that no armed wing would be allowed to collect funds in Karachi and no one would be allowed to steal sacrificial hides this Eid.

The prime minister was also briefed by the IGP Sindh over the decision to send the CCTV video of Rashid Godil’s attack to London. The prime minister took notice of the unclear CCTV video of the attack and directed action be taken against the person who installed the camera.
