ISLAMBAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Thursday his party’s return to the assemblies is part of the agreement they had reached with the government.

Speaking to journalists outside the Parliament House in Islamabad, Qureshi said his conscience is at rest. Criticising the parties that spoke about a resolution against the PTI, he questioned why the JUI-F did not raise any hue and cry about abiding by the constitution at the time of the 17th amendment.

He also asked why the MQM did not remember abiding by the constitution when they were supporting a uniformed president.

He stressed that it was part of the agreement, that if the assemblies are not dissolved the PTI will return to the assemblies.
