LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday congratulated everyone on the judicial commission report but said the nation was still suffering from the impact of the sit-ins.

“The damaged caused to the nation and economy is still being felt because of the sit-ins which were held because of allegations of rigging during the elections.”

Shahbaz Sharif said following this decision everyone should concentrate on their responsibilities and should have mercy on the condition of the nation.

The three-member judicial commission headed by Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk in its detailed report sent to the Ministry of Law rejected all the three allegations of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on rigging in the 2013 general elections.
