Inquiry commission completes proceedings on alleged rigging

ISLAMABAD: The inquiry commission has completed its hearings on the alleged rigging in the General Elections of 2013.

According to sources, 39 proceedings took place in 86 days as today’s session of the commission was the last.

The commission has so far recorded statements from 69 witnesses, and wrapped up its proceedings on Friday after Election Commission lawyer Salman Akran Raja

ISLAMABAD: The inquiry commission has completed its hearings on the alleged rigging in the General Elections of 2013.

According to sources, 39 proceedings took place in 86 days as today’s session of the commission was the last.

The commission has so far recorded statements from 69 witnesses, and wrapped up its proceedings on Friday after Election Commission lawyer Salman Akran Raja completed his arguments and thanked the Commission.

Chief Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk said, “You all can take leave on holiday while the inquiry commission will complete its work.
