Fire at grid station affects 50 electricity feeders in Karachi

KARACHI: Several areas in Karachi were without electricity Saturday evening after a fire at a grid station affected at least 50 feeders across the city.

Federal B Area, Azizabad, Dastageer, North Nazimabad were among the affected areas after the blaze at a grid station in FB Area.

KARACHI: Several areas in Karachi were without electricity Saturday evening after a fire at a grid station affected at least 50 feeders across the city.

Federal B Area, Azizabad, Dastageer, North Nazimabad were among the affected areas after the blaze at a grid station in FB Area.

K-Electric officials said ongoing repair work at the grid station may take up to eight hours for electricity supply to be restored to the areas.
