ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid said on Sunday that the letter written to the Judicial Commission (JC) and the demands of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are actually a confession of defeat by Imran Khan.

In a statement issued today, Rashid said PTI has started writing new letters to the JC after failing to produce evidences and documents and presenting the witnesses before the commission.

He said that during the routine proceedings of the JC, Khan did not demand the Returning Officers (ROs) as witnesses. He said the demand of ROs is another u-turn of the king of the u-turns.

The information minister went on to say that at a time when the JC is nearing a decision, the demands of the PTI chief tantamount to create a new political confusion.

He further said that Khan is making new demands to create hindrances for achieving national targets.

Rashid also said Khan has failed to prove his allegations regarding rigging in the General Elections 2013, adding that Khan should accept his falsehood and apologise for misleading the nation.

He asked Imran Khan not to create hurdles in the path of the national agenda, which is development of the country and fight against terrorism.
