QUETTA: The Mastung tragedy case has been lodged in the Khad Kocha levies station against banned organisation United Baloch Army.

According to levies sources the case was lodged under anti-terrorism and other acts.

Meanwhile a day of mourning is being observed in Balochistan and the provincial government has prepared a plan for the security of buses on the Quetta-Taftan and Quetta-Karachi routes.

Around 25 passengers of two Karachi-bound buses were abducted by 15-20 unidentified armed men in Mastung on Friday. The armed men intercepted the Quetta-Karachi busses and after indentifying some passengers took them towards a nearby mountain range. 22 of the abducted passengers were killed in the mountains.

On Saturday, the families of the victims held a 10-hour long sit-in in front of the Chief Minister House in Quetta which ended after the government and opposition accepted their demands.
