PM, CM Balochistan agree to hold APC over law, order next week

QUETTA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Malik have agreed to hold an All Parties Conference in Quetta in the wake of Mastung massacre next week.

Official sources said, PM Nawaz and CM Abdul Malik made a telephonic contact and exchanged views on Mastung carnage. The premier also asked the provincial chief minister to further tighten the security in Quetta following the incident.

Dr Abdul Malik apprised PM Nawaz about security measures adopted by the provincial government after the tragic incident.

During the conversation, they agreed to hold an APC over law and order situation in Balochistan next week.

Unidentified armed men abducted more than two dozen people from Karachi-bound buses and shot dead 22 of them.
