Balochistan Home Minister announces launch of targeted operation in Quetta

QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti late on Wednesday said that the government has decided to launch a grand targeted operation in the provincial capital to curb terrorism.

QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti late on Wednesday said that the government has decided to launch a grand targeted operation in the provincial capital to curb terrorism.

He said that Frontier Corps, police, Levies and other intelligence and law enforcement agencies would take part in the operation.

Balochistan Police Chief Muhammad Amlaish Khan and Home Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani were also present during the press conference.

Bugti went on to say that patrolling has been increased and forces were being deployed at all important locations in Quetta to maintain law and order.

"Nobody would be spared, strict action would be taken against terrorists", he further said.
