ISLAMABAD: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Chairman Usman Mubeen on Wednesday denied passing on any report or part thereof to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan in connection with NA-122.

Addressing a press conference here, Usman Mubeen said the PTI chief had shown a document to the media, giving a false impression he was in possession of an official report in connection with the election in National Assembly constituency NA-122.

He said the NADRA is working independently without any pressure from the government.

"We cannot share report of any constituency with anyone", Mubeen said, adding he only had a 10-minute long meeting with the PTI chairman Imran Khan.

He revealed that Imran Khan had only asked one question: why the report in connection with NA-122 was suffering a delay.

The NADRA chairman further said he had told Imran Khan that the report has been prepared and it would be submitted to Election tribunal in a week. The current status is that the report about NA-122 has been forwarded to the Election Tribunal, Usman added.
