CHARSADDA: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj ul Haq on Tuesday said that China has given Pakistan the Kashgar project worth 42 billion dollars and the federal government will be held responsible if the project is made controversial.

Addressing a public rally here, the JI chief said it has been two years since the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) formed its government. “Now its honeymoon period is over and it will have to face accountability,” he added.

Siraj said only two parties, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and PML-N, have been taking turns on the government ‘since the formation of Pakistan’. "There are a handful of people who keep changing parties and making the best personal gains", he added.

"American agents have taken Pakistan hostage", the JI chief claimed.

He appealed to the people of Pakistan to support his party for making the country 'clean and green' and said even the enemies of JI accept that the party is not corrupt.

Siraj promised that the country will have a uniform system of education for the poor as well as the offspring of the president if his party gets into power.
