Karachi situation will improve further in coming days: Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Tuesday said he did not deem it appropriate at this stage to bring before nation the progress of the ongoing targeted operation against the criminal elements in Karachi.

In a statement issued here, Chaudhry Nisar said he did not intend to take credit for the crackdown against the criminals in the metropolis.

“The credit of the achievements made in the operation goes to the Rangers, intelligence agencies and Sindh police,” he said.

The Interior Minister expressed his confidence that the situation will improve further, as the operation gets more intensified in coming days.
