Karachi: fishermen catch, set free 7 feet long dolphin

KARACHI: Fishermen released a seven feet long dolphin, shortly after it was caught in their nets during fishing in the open sea of Karachi.

The bottlenose dolphin was caught in the nets of fishermen in Kund Malir sea, some 100kms from Balochistan.

Knowing the sensitivity of the fish, the fishermen released it from their nets shortly after it was witnessed.

KARACHI: Fishermen released a seven feet long dolphin, shortly after it was caught in their nets during fishing in the open sea of Karachi.

The bottlenose dolphin was caught in the nets of fishermen in Kund Malir sea, some 100kms from Balochistan.

Knowing the sensitivity of the fish, the fishermen released it from their nets shortly after it was witnessed.

According to WWF Pakistan official Moassam Khan, it is first time in the history of the country the fishermen have set free alive dolphin in the sea.
