Govt sets March 31 for return of N.Waziristan IDPs

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has set 31st March for return of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan.

At least one million people were temporarily settled in various area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb in the tribal agency.

Authorities concerned have issued schedule for the repatriation of people from areas cleared by the military.

Authorities concerned have issued schedule for the repatriation of people from areas cleared by the military.

As per the schedule, Shahmiri tribes will return to their homes from March 31 to April 10 while affectees from Mir Ali Spin Dam will begin their journey on April 10 and continue till April 13.
