ISLAMABAD: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) staged a walk out on Thursday from the National Assembly over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s statement a day earlier.

Khan addressing a party gathering in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir on Wednesday said he remembers Altaf Hussain’s rally as he watches the partipants of the PTI rally, adding that at Altaf’s rallies, it seemed as if living corpses are sitting and they are scared that if they laugh they will be shot.

Speaking to media outside the NA, MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said Imran Khan is a factory churned politician.

He went on to say that Khan has become a politician through backdoors but if he also becomes the ruler of the country through the same method then it would be very unfortunate for Pakistan.

MQM leader Asif Hasnain also said that people of Karachi have been insulted by calling them ‘living corpses’.

The PTI chairman also said yesterday that next he will go to Karachi and stage a rally to defeat MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
