KARACHI: The Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP) has come up with a video whose aim is to raise awareness among the people about Down Syndrome and to promote acceptance of patients suffering from it as equal members of the society.

The video is a part of KDSP’s campaign for World Down Syndrome Day 2015.

It highlights the capabilities of people with Down syndrome, and how they can make a positive contribution to the lives of their family members, and society as a whole.

World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is a global awareness day officially observed on March 21 by the United Nations to raise awareness about the Down Syndrome; what it means to have Down syndrome and how people suffering from it can play a vital role in our lives and societies.

Events and campaigns take place throughout the world, celebrating people with Down Syndrome and the potential they have to become active members of the society.
