KARACHI: Participants of a long march, launched to protest against Shikarpur massacre, have arrived in Hyderabad on Tuesday night vowing to stage a sit-in outside the CM House in Karachi till the deliverance of justice to the victims.

At least 61 people including children were killed when a suicide bomber blew himself up inside an imambargah in Shikarpur during Friday prayers earlier this month.

Milli Yakjehti Council chief Sahibzada Abulkhair Zubair along with other religious, political and nationalist leaders joined the march near Hyderabad Bypass in solidarity with the victims of the deadly suicide attack.

Speaking to the protesters on the occasion, Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) leaders Allama Nasir Abbas and Allama Amin Shaheedi said that the victims of the Shikarpur tragedy would not get satisfied until Corps Commander, DG Rangers, Chief Minister Sindh and IG Sindh do not negotiate with the marchers outside the CM House.

The protest march did not have a hidden political motive behind it, said the leaders, adding that their demand was only a stern action against terrorists of banned sectarian outfits across the country.
