Malala second most popular woman after Angelina Jolie

LONDON: Pakistan’s teenage education rights activists and youngest ever Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Malala Yousafzai is the second most admired woman in the world after UNHCR envoy and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.

According to a survey conducted by British organisation Yougov, former United States first lady Hilary Clinton is the third most popular woman.

LONDON: Pakistan’s teenage education rights activists and youngest ever Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Malala Yousafzai is the second most admired woman in the world after UNHCR envoy and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.

According to a survey conducted by British organisation Yougov, former United States first lady Hilary Clinton is the third most popular woman.

In men’s category, former Microsoft CEO and philanthropist Bill Gates beat US President Barack Obama to become the most admired man in the world. Chinese President Xi jinping is the third most popular man across the globe.

The list of 25 most famous men and women was compiled after a survey of approximately 30,000 people in 23 countries across the world.
