Strict action against those involved in extra-judicial killing of MQM workers: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the killing of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) worker Suhail Ahmed whose body was recovered from the Maripur area of Karachi on Wednesday.

The prime minister spoke with MQM leader Babar Ghauri on the telephone and assured him those involved in the extra-judicial killing of party workers would be dealt with strictly.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the killing of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) worker Suhail Ahmed whose body was recovered from the Maripur area of Karachi on Wednesday.

The prime minister spoke with MQM leader Babar Ghauri on the telephone and assured him those involved in the extra-judicial killing of party workers would be dealt with strictly.

Prime Minister Sharif has also called for an immediate probe and report of the murder.

The body of MQM worker Suhail Ahmed was recovered from the Maripur area of Karachi. In a statement MQM chief Altaf Hussain condemned the killing and said Ahmed was the unit incharge of Society area.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has also summoned reports from Director General (DG) Rangers and Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh over the murder.
