ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Friday said that whatever happened in the case of NA-122 during the General Elections 2013, it could be regarded as mismanagement but not rigging.

He went on to say that after an agreement has been reached with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), a Judicial Commission (JC) will be formed within 24 hours.

Iqbal further said that the absence stamps on vote counter foils was simply mismanagement and that in fact such votes have favoured Imran Khan instead.

During a press conference on January 12, PTI Chief Imran Khan said that PTI would take to the streets again, if the government failed to constitute a JC to probe the ‘rigging’, adding the findings of the Election Commission report on NA-122 audit had proved his party’s charges of rigging.
