On the instructions of the party leadership, PPP Lahore leader Barrister Ami Hassan on Wednesday celebrated the 28th birthday of the party chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, at Dar-ul-Shafqat, the largest orphanage of the country.

The cake-cutting ceremony was attended by PPP senior leaders, including Samina Khalid Ghurki, Abdul Qadir Shaheed, Shaukat Mehmood Basra and a large number of orphan children living at ‘Dar-ul-Shafqat.’ Barrister Amir Hassan, a PPP ticket holder for NA-122, distributed gifts among the children.

Meanwhile, Faisal Mir, senior PPP leader from Lahore, also organised a birthday ceremony for Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at SOS Village, Lahore.

According to a press release, gifts and sweets were distributed among the children at SOS Village. Orphans picked the gifts of their own choices. Most of the girls picked dolls and bears whereas boys went for toy cars and helicopters. Sweets were also distributed among the children.

Children sang "Happy Birthday Bilawal" with great enthusiasm and thanked the PPP chairman for indirectly sharing his birthday celebrations with them. Teachers and children present on the occasion prayed for the long life of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. PPP leaders Aqib Sarwar, Shahzad Shafi and Ali Awan also accompanied Faisal Mir at the event.
