KARACHI: A bomb targeting a private clinic located in Gulistan e Johar Block 11 exploded on late Wednesday, damaging the property, police said.

According to the police, the clinic was closed due to which no casualties took place, however, it said that the explosion badly damaged the shutter, roof, walls and furniture of the clinic.

The police further said that the owner had received ransom demand, however, police claimed that the extortionists attacked the healthcare facility as the owner would not fulfill their demand.
