KARACHI: The Chairman of Ansar Burney Trust International, Ansar Burney has requested political parties, politicians, NGOs, Aafia’s relatives and public in general to assist and help Ansar Burney Trust in collecting evidences, if any, in alleged kidnapping from Pakistan and allegedly handing over of Pakistani national Dr Aafia Siddiqui to the US, said a press release on Monday.
Ansar Burney has said that if Dr Aafia Siddiqui is innocent then she needs a free and fair appeal in the US court and not just political statements and processions in Pakistan for the dirty politics.
Ansar Burney said every day he is watching and seeing statements and processions
of some of the political parties and leaders in alleged kidnapping from Pakistan and alleged handing over of Dr Aafia to United States but except political gaining no body tried to help her in the court.
Ansar Burney said Dr Aafia is a prisoner who already pleaded guilty in the court and reportedly arrested from Afghanistan so if any one likes to truly help her is requested to please contact Ansar Burney Trust International at Arambagh Road, Karachi. Ansar Burney said he does not want to issue any statement for dirty politics but would like to help her practically if anyone in Pakistan will provide him such evidence in the greater interest of human rights.
