Islamabad: An international non-governmental organisation on Tuesday announced to provide emergency food assistance to 600 families badly affected by floods in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.

A two-member delegation of the IGMG comprising Hasene UK Chair, Ufuk Secgin, and Mikail Durmus from Belgium has reached the capital city for this purpose and assistance would be provided after assessment of damages caused by the floods in these two provinces.

The food packages that would be provided to flood-hit families comprise wheat, flour, rice, sugar, pulses, edible oil and salt.
