MINGORA: Activists of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) in Mingora on Wednesday asked the party’s provincial president Ameer Muqam not to quit the party.

The demand was made during a convention attended by local party workers including Fazal Shah Bacha, Idrees Khan, Mian Gul Bacha, Sardar Ali Shah, Abdul Jabbar Shah Bacha, Muhammad Rasheed and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Fazal Shah Bacha said that the workers wanted him to contest the next general elections on the ticket of the PML-Q. Other speakers said that they would never join any other party as PML-Q was popular among the masses and was gaining clout. They asked the party leadership to reorganise the party in Swat district.
