TAKHT BHAI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former provincial senior minister Rahimdad Khan Tuesday said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI)-led provincial government had failed to launch a mega project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa despite completing half of the tenure.
Talking to reporters here, he said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had made Pakistan a nuclear power despite tremendous world pressures. “The PPP workers are not disappointed and are striving to accomplish the mission of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto,” he added.
He hoped that the party would emerge as powerful political force and form next government in the province. “All conspiracies to tarnish the image of the party will fizzle out,” the PPP leader said, adding that ZAB and BB sacrificed own lives for the nation but they did not bow to the dictators. He asserted that the government had failed to provide employment to the jobless youth who had been running from pillar to post.
