MARDAN: Three people allegedly killed the mother-in-law of a teacher of the Government Girls Middle School for failing their daughter and sister in the examination in the limits of Katlang Police Station, police sources said on Saturday.
One Umar Ali Khan told the police that his daughter-in-law was a teacher at the Government Girls Middle School, Landi Shah. He said the daughter and sister of the accused were studying at the school and had failed the examination, but they blamed their teacher for the failure.
He alleged that the accused Junaid Khan, Babar Khan and Fayyaz killed his wife as they thought his daughter-in-law was behind their failure.
Umar Ali said the accused stormed his house and opened fire on the elderly woman, who was killed on the spot.
The police registered the case against the accused under sections 302, 324, 449 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
