MINGORA: The office-bearers of Ittefaq Labour Union, Swat chapter, staged protest against the alleged irregularities in the Workers Welfare Board (WWB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here on Sunday.
Led by provincial chairman of Muttahida Labour Federation Ajmali Khan, the workers staged protest outside the Swat Press Club.
Speaking on the occasion, provincial president of Muttahida Labour Federation Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Nabi, Abdul Wadood said that the ministry for labour and manpower had failed to resolve the problems of the labourers.
They said that the endowment fund, death grant and scholarship had been suspended for the last three years and the students were also not being given transport charges.
They accused the officials of illegally appointing several blue-eyed. They said that the enquiry against the corruption committed by the Secretary WWB Niamatullah had recently been completed but the disciplinary action had not been taken yet against him.
