burnt her daughter alive, seeks justice

PESHAWAR: A woman hailing from Dilazak Road locality has appealed to chief justice Peshawar High Court, governor, chief minister and police chief to provide her justice as her daughter had been burnt alive.
Talking to reporters at the Peshawar Press Club on Monday, Rukhsana alleged that her son-in-law with the help of his brothers burnt her daughter to death on May 23. The woman said she had got registered a case against the accused at Phandu Police Station but the cops have yet to take any action.
Rukhsana said her daughter Afsana had been married six years ago and had three daughters but she was not happy due to domestic violence. She said the husband buried body of her daughter in his house and she came to know about the tragedy a day after her death. She demanded justice and strict punishment to the culprit. Earlier, she staged protest along with her children and family members outside the Peshawar Press Club demanding justice.
