PESHAWAR: A contractor from Peshawar, Abdul Wajid Khan, was killed by miscreants on Friday while proceeding to Panjgur from Quetta in Balochistan. He was 43.
His body was airlifted to Peshawar and shifted to the family residence located at Hayatabad Town.
The funeral prayer would be offered at Phase-I in Hayatababad today (Sunday) at 10 a.m. He will be laid to
rest at the Hayatabad graveyard. The deceased is
survived by a widow and three children.
He was brother of Jehangir Khattak, a United States-based senior journalist from Peshawar and former president of the Peshawar Press Club and Khyber Union of Journalists, Colonel (Retired) Muhammad Alamgir, Majid Khan and Tanveer Khanzada.
