PESHAWAR: A resident of Dir on Monday threatened to commit self-immolation if justice was not provided to him within two days.
Speaking at a press conference at the Peshawar Press Club, Zafar Ali said that he had done masters and applied for the teaching assistant post in 2014.He said he appeared in the test and clinched 3rd position. However, he said he was not selected for the job despite the fact that 70 teaching assistants were appointed in various colleges of Dir and Buner districts.
The educated youth alleged that the provincial ministers recruited their blue-eyed persons against the posts at various colleges of the province and ignored the qualified ones. Zafar Ali set a two-day deadline and threatened of self-immolation outside the Peshawar Press Club if justice was not provided to him.
