PESHAWAR: Provincial president of the Awami National Party (ANP) and former chief minister Ameer Haider Hoti Tuesday urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly members to discourage horse-trading in the Senate polls.
Speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of Malgari Wakeelan at the district bar room, he said that the lawmakers in the provincial assembly should stick to the rich traditions of the assembly and refrain from horse-trading in the Senate elections.
The ANP leader expressed serious concern over the speculated changes in the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor route. He said that they won’t allow anyone to snatch the rights of the province. He urged the federal government to stop discrimination against the smaller provinces.
