Speaking at a news conference, the newly elected chairman of the organization Abdul Munaf said government must announce and hold elections for a representative union of the teachers.
He demanded an end to all kinds of political interference in the Education Department. These hospitals should provide all kinds of medical facilities to teachers and their families, he explained.
He demanded special quota for wards of teachers in the recruitment in the Education Department. Abdul Munaf warned of launching a protest movement in March if the demands were not met.
