NANKANA SAHIB: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Raja Mansoor Ahmad Friday said plants and flowers
are beauty of the earth and save environment from pollution. Addressing a ceremony after inaugurating a three-day Jashan-e-Baharan at Allama Iqbal Park, the deputy commissioner said that one tree provides oxygen to 36 small kids. District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Naveed said that such festivals were essential in a stressed atmosphere. A large number of citizens were also present on the occasion. Later, the DC and the DPO viewed arrangements of flowers.
