TANK: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Sunday said that agents of the West were raising the slogans of new Pakistan.

Addressing a public gathering here on Sunday, Maulana Fazl claimed that Pakistan’s destiny could be changed only through implementation of Shariah. JUI-F candidate for PK-69 Mahmood Bhittani and other leaders including Dr Muhammad Tahir Javed, Mufti Allah Noor, JUI-F district president Muhammad Jan and others also spoke on the occasion.

Maulana Fazl, who is contesting election for NA-25, expressed the hope that his party will form new government in the province, saying that new slogans had been invented to deceive voters. “Those talking about new Pakistan are the slaves of US and Europe who are acting on the dictates of their western masters,” he said. Earlier, Maulana Fazl addressed public gatherings in village Dabara, Umar Adda, and Norang.
