KARAK: Eight persons, including four women and two children of the same family, were injured in a mysterious blast at a house, police said on Sunday.

 

Reports said the mentally challenged Nasreen Gul, resident of Dakas Banda, put explosive material in the tandoor (oven) of the house and when someone started cooking food, the material exploded. As result of the explosion, eight persons including, Noor Zaqim Jana, Gul Naz Bibi, Naz Bibi, Qabool Jana, Ghani, 3, Nauman Saeed, 8, Arif Khan and Nasreen Gul himself sustained injuries. All the injured were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital at Takht-e-Nusrati by their neighbours where six of them were discharged after first-aid while the two others were admitted to the hospital.
