PESHAWAR: Four police stations in Peshawar on Friday registered cases on the complaints of the relatives of the missing persons after the Peshawar High Court (PHC) took up the issue.
One Haji Iqbal, hailing from Khyber Agency, registered a case about the kidnapping of his son Shah Hussain at the University Town Police Station.
Shah Hussain, who was a student, has been missing since April 20, 2009.Another FIR was registered at the Pishtakhara Police Station regarding the disappearances of Shahid, son of Abdul Qayyum. He had gone missing in July 2010.
The Agha Mir Jani Shah Police Station registered a case about the disappearance of one Zohaib, son of Atiqur Rahman. He went missing in June 2008.Officials at the Paharipura Police Station registered an FIR as one Mohammad Rahman, son of Gul Hanan, belonging to Hangu, has been missing since January.
