Speaking to faculty members at the Hazara University on Friday, Commissioner Hazara Division Khalid Khan Umerzai said that space would also be provided for a museum along with building for the university’s city campus.

Earlier, Vice-Chancellor Dr Syed Sakhawat Shah in his speech sought the help of the commissioner in the establishment of the Abbottabad campus and space for extending the Hazara museum, which has already been established by the university.

“Hazara is centre of ancient civilisation and extension of the museum would educate people about the old culture and heritage of the region and also the fabled Silk route,” said Khalid Umerzai.Vice-Chancellor Dr Syed Sakhawat Shah also planted a sapling at the garden of the campus to launch the tree plantation campaign.
